Healthcare has changed in the past 10 years
Think about your last visit to the Doctor's Office. Upon entering you noticed a sizable line based on the number of people in the waiting room. After trudging through an old Golfer's Digest or TV Guide you finally hear your name called and proceed through the next set of doors escorted by a nurse or assistant. They take your vitals and promptly whisk you away to the next room, to wait. Again. You spend your time trying to memorize the sample medications being advertised or ponder how a room with no windows could possibly be filled with sun damaged items. A knock on the door snaps you out of your daze and you try to remember all the reasons you came in the first place, besides the yearly physical exam of course. A brief back and forth ensues between yourself and the Doctor, ending quickly and with little physical interaction. Maybe you leave with a prescription for drugs or physical therapy, but rarely much else unless there's something serious going on.
It's no wonder there is such a rise in "Physician Burnout". People who have committed their lives to helping stranger's are restricted to 5-15 minute appointments, where little is accomplished. We're forced into following the rules of insurance companies instead of the oath taken to become a doctor in the first place.
We do things very differently at Beyond Chiropractic. You can expect to be with the doctor one on one for a full hour at your initial visit. Followups vary from 30 - 120 minutes based on our treatment plan and your unique issue. We make a plan, have a goal and carry it out efficiently using state of the art equipment and up to date techniques. As a result our outcome measures and return to play times are much lower than the industry average, in some cases less than half of the recovery time from an injury is needed. So, what are you waiting for?
